I've researched existing Fashion Illustrators, the ones uploaded onto this blog are inspirational to me.
Arturo Elena is one of my favorites because His style is very distinctive, His work isnt my style because it looks very graphic and computer gamy but his overall style is what captures my attention

CUSTOMISATION

Alexander McQueen
In my spare time I enjoy customising and personalising old bags and shoes, the bag below was inspired by the Alexander McQueen Studded bag.

BAG
I stripped the material from the bag then painted and embellished with gold spray painted lentils (yes the ones you eat)
My creation before I applied a coating of Epoxy Resin
SHOES

Shoe inspiration
Using tribal patterns and tattoos as my inspiration i painted my design onto an old pair of wedges again using lentils for detail

CAD - computer aided designs & illustrations

Using some hand drawn illustrations with photoshop, I changed the colours, composition and background to create an effective piece of work which I feel creates the correct mood for the two figures

Fashion Illustrations

Since I was about eleven, fashion illustrations have always been a big interest of mine, On the  Fashion Concepts &Communications course we are now looking into Illustrators and CAD (Computer Aided Design) Fashion Illustrations. We will create some of our own from using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

Below are several of my recent drawings done in my free time, I'm very much influenced by Models, catwalks and striking poses. Nudity is something i love to draw because its so raw and natural, Some people get uptight about seeing 'too' much flesh but i see this as art.

Below are two well known Fashion Illustrators, both with their own distinct and individual style, Rene Gruau was an amazing illustrator who's work featured in most big magazines including Harper's bazaar, Elle and Vogue
